Meet Kasandra Pascal of K.Amour Kollection and Radiant Glow by Kay in Kennesaw

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasandra Pascal.

Kasandra, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Funny story, my mom is a hairstylist and I was never interested in hair. That was something I thought my sister would take on but it started off when I needed my hair done one day to go to an event. I had bundles but no one to sew it in. Then, I remember how all these YouTubers would make wigs to wear. So, I sat down and made a wig for myself. It wasn’t the best, but it works for the event I was going to. At the event, everyone was giving me so many compliments on it not knowing this was my first time and the tracks were out of place. It definitely gave me the confidence to continue trying.

After that, I went on to making more wigs for myself and getting much better. Other people were asking me to make wigs for them but I was extremely hesitant because I didn’t know everything. So, I sat with my mom and learned all the things I needed to. Sewing, flat ironing, coloring even to cutting. I started making wigs for others one by one. As people would go out, others would ask them who made their wig. Then, I started getting more and more people asking for wigs. I wanted something more structured so I created a business.

My business has taught me that you never know what the future holds. If you told me five years ago, I would be doing hair or making wigs for people. I probably would have laughed but I’m super grateful for the opportunity and the people who support me. I truly love making people happy and making them look good.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, not! I definitely struggle many times. I had to lean on my mother for help and advice. I knew that I had to keep trying and working to perfect my craft!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the K.Amour Kollection and Radiant Glow by Kay story. Tell us more about the business.
I have two business, one of which I specialize in is making wigs for people. I am extremely proud of my growth and support I get from others across Atlanta.

Second business is a Glow oil company called Radiant Glow by Kay. Ladies and gents love having glowing skin during the spring and summer times. I provide natural skin care oil and body butter that add a unique glow to your skin.
