Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaitlin Robinson.
Hi Kaitlin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always had a passion to be creative, digitally. I love using my ideas to create digital media, and editing is something I find joy in doing. As I got older and graduated from college, I decided that this is something I would stick to doing because it’s more than just a hobby to me. For my small business, I use apps like Procreate to create stickers using my artwork. All of the artwork is drawn by hand, and I take time to add detail. I want my business to expand, so I am constantly thinking of ways to make that happen. Hopefully, I can continue to do what I love in terms of creating as the years go on.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been some obstacles along the way. As a person who loves to create, there have been times when I have wanted to make something artistic, but couldn’t find the right way to bring my ideas to life in the way I envisioned. However, brainstorming has helped me a lot, and I always make sure that I am completely focused on the task because that is a huge part of creating/making my products.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an Early Childhood Educator, and my love for digital media is a perfect fit for the role I am in. I get to create digital media not only for myself, but I also get to show and use that creativity in my everyday profession, which is amazing! I love what I do, and I am most proud that I am in a career that allows me to bring creative ideas forward.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The thing I like best about the city is the fact that there is always something to do. I am a country girl born and raised, but I love being in the city. Getting to explore downtown and see new sights is something that I am so blessed to be able to experience! I would say, though, the traffic is probably the thing I like the least about the city.
