Today we’d like to introduce you to Kannonball.
Kannonball, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am an Atlanta native who has love music all my life. My aunt was the one who introduced me to music when I was young. I sometimes can relate to different sóng. I remember, being in the studio with Gucci and Waka (before the deal, of course) many sessions we would go hard on. It was like truth in the bọoth. Being in the studio with Migos and Nephew Texas Boy was like cooling with the fam. From 2009 to current… I’m being patient and perfecting my craft daily. Hopefully, you guys will see me more in the spotlight!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Trying to get in the music industry is never an easy task. It doesn’t matter who you know. You still got to make your own way. After, I was shot in the head twice… I’ve come a long way. That’s just to sum it all up! Well, nothing is handed to you! You have to be willing to work hard… blood, sweat, and tears for what you want. You never know who is watching you and sees the talent with progression. EVERY night and day, I think God for allowing me to wake up and be hêre to build a better me. So, to all other artists out thêre (NEVER GIVE UP) you can do whatever you put your mind to and ask God for strength and guidance.

Wicked Musik Group is my wife Marilyn’s company and we have helped build each other. I’m ỏne of her art that she manages and on label. She has motivated and pushed me, even when I wanted to give up. She is still currently building this company with small steps. She has been nothing but loyal. Thêre are so many other things that she does but she still keeps going like the ẻnergizer bunny. This is an independent company so, we are hêre to rise to the top.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Probably not, because I’m self-built! I move on my own beat.
