Meet Kanysha Williams of Diamond Skulpt Med Spa in Smyrna

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kanysha Williams.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kanysha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born in Miami, FL raised in St. Thomas Virgin Islands. I moved to Atlanta in 2014, and in 2017, I started my skincare journey on becoming a Licensed Esthetician and now working on opening my Med Spa in Doraville. Growing up, I always wondered why some people aged different from others, so with extensive research and experimentation, its and honor to share my knowledge, skills and experience with each and every client. Because “Age is timeless” and helping people discover their skin’s true beauty is my goal. In June, my goal is to start school to become a licensed Esthetic Educator.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I graduated from esthetic school, I planned to open my spa, but I had a lot of fairs that I would fail. So I tried to work for other people to gain some knowledge about this industry like the do’s and the don’ts. Still, what I realized working for people, my outlook would always be different because how I want to run my spa and treat my employees was not how I was treated and how they valued an individual. So now, I’m confident enough to make my own mistakes and become a great owner what I have learned never to mix business and friendship.

Please tell us about your business.
Diamond Skulpt offers customized treatment, whether it’s facials or body treatments. Every client situation is different, so we like to customize our treatment according to our clients. We are devoted to pampering all clients from the minute they enter the minute they exit. We offer all kinds of facials, permanent makeup, waxing, body contouring, vacuum therapy, v-stem, foot detox, intimate lightening, teeth whitening, lash lift, brow tinting, classes on the services I provide. I specialize in body contouring, and that’s what I’m most known for. I’m the proudest of my growth and knowledge thus far. I do my services because it is my passion, and it is not a quick buck for me.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I miss spending quality time with my sisters.
