Meet Karla Giltner of Marietta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karla Giltner.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Currie Rose Interiors is a full service Interior Design and Home Staging firm trusted by homeowners, real estate professionals and discerning clients who value quality, discretion and timeless beauty. Started only a few years ago with a vision to create classical balance within our company and everything we do.

As the company grew, so did our purpose. We place a strong focus on developing people both on our team and within our community. Mentorship efforts are a priority through partnerships with community organizations and universities. Our culture is intentional and our standards are high. Leadership and community impact are very important to us. Young professionals need opportunities to develop and grow and we are able to provide a variety of opportunities with the extensive list of projects we are involved in. Our team works harmoniously together because we take the time to develop each team member and provide exciting opportunities for everyone to be a part of.

Our staging and design work purpose is to create environments that feel intentional, elevated, polished, warm and functional.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Running a home staging company is a very demanding business. The logistics are ever changing and the multitude of factors that go into managing a warehouse, trucks and a team require a high level of energy and detail. Day to day it is a constant orchestration of logistics, labor and deadlines, often moving at the same time.

Homes must be transformed on tight deadlines, furniture is sourced, stored and transported. Our teams arrive early and stay late resetting homes in a matter of hours. Staging is time sensitive and performance driven; our clients depend on us behind the scenes to make their listings shine.

Understanding this is the nature of the day to day business and it will not change; the team has been trained to lean into the high level of energy and accomplishment we manage every singe day.

Instead of focusing on the list of tasks ahead of us; we thrive on the fact that we are a well managed team who are able to handle all of it. Our team members have gained confidence in themselves by working in this business and understanding that they can now manage anything that comes their way. We thrive on the challenges by staying strong together and developing a plan to manage the issues at hand instead of shying away from them.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a mother of three and business owner I am most proud of the example I am setting for my family. To have the pleasure of continuing to build our business with my daughters alongside me is the greatest gift.

I have been given many gifts which I am so thankful for. Patience and the ability to manage a very large workload allow me to work on the variety of projects we manage everyday.

When a person is doing the things they love to do it brings energy and excitement to their daily life. Individuals living in their true element and surrounded by people that they are aligned with brings a sense of joy and confidence to continue the work they are doing.
