Karmen, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I simply decided to go for it! I’ve always known that I wanted to have my own business. Working for others has never been my thing, so I took matters into my own hands and made it happen! This has definitely been a journey and I am enjoying every moment.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have definitely been plenty of bumps in the road. Being an entrepreneur is not an easy job at all. Being a college student while working a 9-5 and maintaining a business is not for the weak! There have been times where I have wanted to give up and even asked myself if this was worth it. I know for a fact that God has a bigger plan for me. This is just the beginning!

The Karmen Danielle Collection is known for vegan and cruelty-free lipgloss and beaded-bracelets. What sets me apart from others is the fact that all of my products are handmade by me. I make sure that every order is made with love!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I plan to create my own vegan and cruelty makeup line that caters to women of all skin types.
