Meet Kashia Freemon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kashia Freemon.

Hi Kashia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m 23. I’m the owner of Kashia F. Lash Artistry. I’ve always had an interest in doing lashes as a side hustle while in school. Never really got them done until like 2018, and since then, I invested in a certification class and supplies to get started. I started lashing full-time February of this year. Along the way, I have learned a lot more about marketing and what it takes to run a business and I’m grateful for my growth, experience and my clientele.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, I remember my first two clients I was so discouraged, and I wanted to give up. I always questioned if this was my passion and if I wanted to pursue. I would always look at other lash techs in my area and think I’ll never get there. I invested so much money to start this journey, but I don’t regret anything. Marketing was also difficult to grasp, but I’ve learned so many tips and tricks to get my brand out there.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a certified lash technician. I have been lashing for six months now. I specialize in hybrid and volume eyelash extensions. I’m most known for my great customer service and efficiency. I love what I do. It’s so relaxing and satisfying. I love enhancing women’s look. I’m most proud of how much my work, clientele and brand is expanding. I offer great prices for my sets. I make sure that all of my clients feel welcomed and comfortable when they are getting serviced.

In the future, I’m hoping to offer more services and sell wholesale lash supplies.
