Today we’d like to introduce you to Katrina Grigoryan.

Katrina, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am salon owner in Alpharetta. I will also have a new addition to the salon that will be Vogue Spa with will be located in the same shopping center.

I started in Veronica Stone salon over 10 years ago. I got a lot of training and education from Veronica. I also got American Board Certification (it’s only few of us in state of GA) while I was working for Veronica Stone. I have been taking my career very seriously. I love what I do and this is the reason I take so much of continues education. I believe that we need education in our area.

I have great salon we use Redken colors and products. We also use Pureology and Moroccan Oil.

I have great team of 7 Girls we are very different in all kind of ways staring with looks, ages, nationality and education back ground. As different as we are it just amazing how great we get along with each other. We make great salon family no drama and we love each other (that’s hard to find today)!!!

We love our clients I really like Alpharetta and Cumming area because clients here very nice and very personal. We are referral base salon we have 87% client retention!!!!!
We use top of the line treatments like Olaplex and Keratin complex.

We really make a different in people lives everyday. We correct someone else mistakes without compromising hair texture and quality. We change people everyday life by education them on product and styling. We give people confidence and knowledge of their hair. Hair is the best jewelry, if hair looks good everything else just complete the final look.

We also provide biggest trend of 2017 is Permanent Makeup. Hair strokes for eyebrows, lip color and eyeliners.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s always challenging to be a salon owner and stylist, mom, wife and friend all at the same time. One day at a time!!!!

What were you like growing up?
I am just a regular person. Grow up in Kyrgyzstan there I went to school and sports. Love my friends from my home town. I can to USA when I was 15. Went to school here and also to Cosmetology school.

Did Medical Billing and Accounting for few years.

Managed Salon before for few years before open my own.

Being salon owner for last 7 years. Vogue Hair salon owner for 4.5 years.

Hair very hard life as a child. So I know how to appreciate very little things. I love life and people. Love my family its priority for me.

Met my husband when I was 16, I was in love with him from the moment I met him and its being wonderful marriage with 2 beautiful kids who is my world.
