So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have worked for several top groomers, I never thought I would have my own salon. Pawlished Pets just happened to fall into my lap. It was the best decision I have ever made.
Has it been a smooth road?
The largest obstacles would have to be developing the reputation I have worked so hard for.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Pawlished Pets story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a full service pet grooming salon. What sets us apart from other salons is the time we spend with the pets. We take our time with all the pets, we let them dictate how long they need. Not all pets can handle standing on the grooming table for a long time. We also give all our pets the special attention that they need. I would have to say that we are growing in reputation for working with senior pets and pets that may have trust issues and some levels of fear aggression. We give all pets a chance to relax and warm up to us.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I hope to grow as a top grooming salon and open another location which would be larger and offer more boarding and day care along with the grooming.
