In 2011 I picked up a camera and pursued curiosity and later built the business of my dreams. I built a brand, marketed my services, and quickly turned this dream into a reality. I own a full-service portrait studio that specializes in newborn and first-year milestone portraits as well as Wedding photography.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have always been driven by hustle, grit, and the determination to push through even when things are tough. I continue to follow my passion and dream BIG. I’ve learned to adapt and make changes along the way. A challenge I had to overcome early on in my career was I had to believe that I was enough. I had to give myself grace along the way. I had to shut out the noise of the naysayers. Most importantly, I had to believe in myself.

I own a full-service portrait studio that specializes in Newborn, first-year milestone, and wedding photography. I have a team that helps me manage the volume of work we do. I love being able to provide an incredible experience for everyone who walks in the door. I want people to have tangible and timeless prints and products to display in their home. For this reason, we work with our clients in helping them choose wall art and print products that are professionally printed through our print lab. We are one of the larger baby portrait studios in the area known for our fun, fresh, and timeless approach to portraits. While I own a studio in Florence, Alabama, I provide wedding and engagement photography services both around Florence, Alabama, and destinations. My style of work is fun, fresh, and timeless. I have seen and photographed it all, and the more that I shoot, the more that I fall in love with this job! The joy, the excitement, the clients, the portraits that take your breath away… I love it all.
We pride ourselves on our quality of work and the customer service we provide to everyone who comes to through the doors. Our clients are like family to us, that’s the way we treat them from the moment we meet. My business has been built by word of mouth based on our customer service.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I have always believed in defining your own success. Success looks different for so many people. Success goes to those that can define what to takes to be successful on your own terms—mapping actions to aspirations.
