Hi Keisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is really a blend of global business experience and deep family roots, but it took a major life event to push me into making the change.

For many years, I was focused on leading marketing efforts for big brands like Google and LinkedIn. I built up great expertise in smart, organized planning —the kind of techniques you need to make campaigns successful.

At the end of 2023, I was laid off, and honestly, that was the push I needed. Instead of chasing another corporate job, I decided to bet on myself and my vision. I officially launched K. Renee’ Creative Solutions in early 2024.

Entrepreneurship is simply in my blood. I got the tools and techniques from my time at large companies, but the real drive for this business comes straight from my family. My mother, my late grandmother, my brother, and even my son have all been business owners. I learned the most crucial lessons about how to connect with customers and the sheer determination required to succeed just by watching them.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The simple answer is absolutely not.

The very first struggle was the emotional whiplash of being laid off. I went from earning a high-salary role and leading global campaigns to having absolutely nothing secure. That moment forces you to ask some big questions about security and identity.

I decided to take that uncertainty and channel it into launching K. Renee’ Creative Solutions in early 2024. But then came the second struggle: the physical demand of starting from zero. As an entrepreneur, you are the accountant, the salesperson, the strategist, and the cleanup crew. You have to learn how to operate on a shoe-string budget while providing a world-class standard for your clients.

The third, and perhaps biggest, challenge was building trust in the local market. My resume screams “Google” and “LinkedIn,” which is great, but those businesses are worlds away from a health and wellness practice in here in Atlanta.

I had to overcome the perception that I was either too expensive or too “corporate” to understand their daily struggles. I overcame this by literally giving away my time—those complimentary consultation calls were essential. They weren’t about sales; they were about listening and proving that I was genuinely invested in the success of the local entrepreneur. That process of leading with service and focusing on building deep relationships is what finally broke the ice and brought in our first clients.

It hasn’t been smooth, but every bump in the road has reinforced the core belief that my skills are best used helping local small businesses grow and thrive.

At our core, we are the dedicated marketing leader for small health and wellness businesses in the Atlanta area. We specifically work with the successful practitioners—the chiropractors, therapists, yoga studios, and specialty practices—who are excellent at their service but often hit a growth ceiling because their marketing feels scattered.

We offer focused solutions that fall into three main areas:
-Marketing Strategy: Developing the overall plan and positioning.
-Branding & Digital Presence: Making sure their unique story is clear and consistent.
-Execution: Making sure the plan gets carried out efficiently across the right channels.

We don’t offer a huge menu of services; we offer a single, clear, organized plan for growth.

We take that high-level thinking—the kind that cuts through the noise and delivers results—and tailor it completely for the local small business budget. We swap out the stress of random marketing tasks for a clear, intentional blueprint that makes every dollar spent a profitable step toward their next goal.

I love this question—because my answer always surprises people!

By day, I’m deep in the world of strategy—solving big business puzzles and keeping things running smoothly. But when it’s time to unwind and reset my brain… I grab my iPad, fire up the LEGO Builder app, turn on some music or a movie and disappear into a pile of tiny plastic bricks.

Seriously—I’m all in. Focused, calm, and completely in the zone.

There’s just something magical about following hundreds of little steps and watching a masterpiece take shape, one click at a time. It’s like meditation, but with instructions and minifigs.

It’s my favorite way to recharge—and it helps me come back the next day refreshed, focused, and ready to build again… just with people instead of bricks.
