Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth Nugent, D’angelo Bennett and J. Austin Lee.
Kenneth, D’angelo, and J. Austin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We started All Night Co. in early 2017 through social media and word of mouth. We wanted to be a creative outlet for artists in our area. We helped them release their music and videos while also covering current music and culture.
We had our first event in February of 2018 with live music and vendors. That event really opened our eyes to the possibilities of having our own multimedia and entertainment company. We went on to have many events for the rest of the year, everything from live music, art shows, and house parties. Our events continued to grow and diversify. We’ve spread our reach throughout the city of Mobile along with local creatives and companies with a common goal. That goal is assisting the growth of artists and our rising creative community. We also released photography, videography, music videos, podcasts, and interviews with better branding in mind.
In 2019, we continued to provide entertainment and took on managing a few local musicians and getting deeper into working on ideas for bigger events in our city and the southeast region as a whole. We want to create a more robust multimedia platform and work on creating extraordinary events that our supporters will be excited for.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting out the main obstacles were finding venues that would give us the opportunity to have events. We also had issues with money to host them and travel to them. We worked different jobs to save money to get equipment to do live music events and shoot photos and videos. Nowadays things are a bit smoother but we still have problems. Getting more support from local businesses would help us create the community we envision.

All Night Co. is a multimedia and entertainment company dedicated to the growth and coverage of artists and the rising creative community. We are mostly known for hosting live music events, throwing parties, shooting photos and videos, and promoting local musicians and creatives in general. We’re proud to represent the young creative scene in Mobile and Alabama as a whole. What sets us apart is that we are showing a new side of Alabama, we’re showing how diverse and artistic we really are here. Up until this point, we feel no one has represented us quite like this.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Our favorite childhood memories are mainly our love for music, film, cartoons, video games, etc. We also loved spending time with family.
