Sugar Hill Auto Collision is a world class comprehensive collision repair center for domestic and foreign vehicles. We are located in Buford, just north east of Atlanta.
The business was founded by Mr. Poss and Mr. Allen and has been family owned and operated since 1965. Sugar Hill Auto Collision offers a lifetime warranty on all workmanship and refinishes. Work is performed in a state of the art facility by certified technicians with the highest quality standards in the industry. We have built the business by focusing on quality repairs. We work make sure repairs are completed by manufactures guidelines and standards. This is accomplished with the use of factory data and the most up to date technology and equipment. We have built a network of dealership partnerships and work for the vehicle owners not the insurance companies. This approach is different than the majority of other shop that choose to contract with insurance for referral business. These types of shops work to save the insurance companies money.
Brother’s Randy Moreland and Kevin Moreland took over the business in July 2014. Both have many years of experience in the small business world, but Kevin Moreland the CEO/President and of Sugar Hill Auto Collision has over 15 years in the auto industry, Kevin has fierce attention to detail and a complete mastery of the collision industry, which set him and his team apart from the competition. From managing the complete repair-process, working cohesively with the insurance company to communicating continuously with the customer, Kevin ensures that the customer always comes first. At Sugar Hill Auto Collision Kevin is accomplished at creating a strong integrated team environment within the shop which in-turn provides a more seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like most our business our has struggles. The biggest challenge we face is that we work against these mega insurance companies to repair vehicle correctly. Because we don’t cave to their pressure to compromise repairs, the insurance companies try to steer customers to other shops that they have contracts with which allows the insurance companies to control the repairs.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Sugar Hill Auto Collision – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our Company’s main focus is in production Automotive Collision repairs and restorations. This includes repairs to ALL makes and models both foreign & domestic. Computerized unibody and frame measuring for repairs, auto glass replacement & Repair, headlight restoration, paintless dent repair, Wheel alignments, and all mechanical work.
The thing that set us apart is our approach to a repair. Before work is start a complete tear down of the vehicle is performed so the damage can be accurately captured and the repairs can be Blue printed and mapped to meet the manufacturing guidelines.
Aside from our focus on quality there are two things that I am most proud of as a company. First, is the team of people that work here. I am surrounded by folks that take pride in what they do and truly care about the work that is produced. Second, I am proud of our involvement in the community. We take every opportunity that we can to sponsor/participate in charity events. We have even had the opportunity to give a vehicle to a family in need.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have plans to expand into new markets with multiple locations in the Metro Atlanta area over the next 5 years.
