Today we’d like to introduce you to Kezia Alford.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well, my story starts about 15 years ago when I moved to Atlanta and completely lost and not having a relationship with Christ. I was a single mom going through a divorce and had a five-year-old son at the time. I didn’t think God could use me because of my past life. Later, I got saved and started living for Christ and walking a true and holy lifestyle for Him. Through the Lord, I found out what my purpose was in life and that’s how I started singing and using my gift for the Lord. Since then, I am a Pastors wife, International Recording Artist/Songwriter, Media Host, and Women’s Ministry leader.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road but with a prayer life and using worship as a tool has allowed me to push through and continue knowing my victory is already won.
I am most proud of being a Singer-Songwriter. My publishing company is called Sparkle Bright Publishing/ASCAP. I am a prophetic worshiper and love to utilize scripture to record music. What sets me apart from others is the sound that I carry.
I recently signed a record deal with MC1 Nashville/ Copper Lily Records with Sony Music Distribution.. My new soaring single “Mississippi Tales” is a cross over sound of Delta blues and Country Music that’s breaking out worldwide.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My biggest supporters is my husband, James Alford, my two boys, and my parents.
