Meet Khaldun Oluwa of Eternal Blackness Art in Southwest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Khaldun Oluwa.

Khaldun, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always been artistic. I have been oil painting since 2000. I use oil paint because there is a level of mastery that has to be applied to accomplish the powerful visions that are projected in my mind. It is the deep level of thinking that is provoked by the process of creation that drives me to approach my craft with the intent to paint expressions of The Most High.

It is the liveliness of oil based paint that enhances and enriches my work. Perception, perspective, rationality, reasoning, analyzing, and critical thinking are invoked and thoroughly explored as I go through visualizing and composing the imagery I produce.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Oil painting is very challenging, in that, you must devote a considerable amount of time to gain understanding of how to apply the paint. I use many layers and strokes to bring the subjects of my work to life. I have committed my life to oil painting because my art has been gifted to me by The Most High and I am a vessel in which revelations and beatific visions are made manifest.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Eternal Blackness Art story. Tell us more about the business.
Eternal Blackness Art is the highest reality of all existence and the evidence of Universal Truth. Being a black man in America I am confronted with the obstacles of discrimination and the many other degrading effects of oppression. Therefore, I have to raise my voice in such a way, in which, I could be heard in a time and place where Truth has been muted. Thus, the content and subject matter of my art goes against all ideologies and conceptualizations of white supremacy by promoting Black empowerment.

Eternal Blackness Art is the platform, in which, Black excellence is presented. The foundation that I build upon is the Universal Truth, fore the Universe was formed in and created out of the never beginning Blackness. All forms of living existence are derived from the perpetual Blackness. So, we have to look into the Blackness to see the origins of Light.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck because everything exists with purpose and everything that happens on this plane of existence has specific reasons. The Law of consequence is embedded in the Universe, so what you put out comes back to you.
