Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiara “KP” Miles.
Kiara, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a 28 year old mother of one very active baby girl. I went to sleep with a nightmare and woke up with a dream, LITERALLY! I have been writing since 7th / 8th grade. I always knew I wanted to write, but I also knew I didn’t want to write books, etc. My true passion came when I was about 15 assisting my mother with her college material. I began my business January 2019, at the age of 27. I was a new mom and full time employee. My job wasn’t something that I loved anymore. I knew that I needed to step out on faith. The balance was a bit much for me. I wanted to work for myself at that point. I wanted to create a business that would assist my community in a way that wasn’t available. I began assisting with employment searching first. As time went on, I began getting requests for resumes and clients needing assistance with interview etiquette. My business grew as what seemed overnight.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The transition has not been easy. There have been struggles with maintaining everyday life. There is a #1 commitment to provide world-class customer service to my clients and maintain above perfect as a mother in my daughter’s eyes. No matter the amount of clients that I have, there is a 24 hr turn around time. The turn around time is hands down the hardest aspect. I wouldn’t trade this journey for the world. It does get crazy at times, but to be able to save at least one person or family means more than the world to me.

Now, I am a certified, 2X award winning Employment Expert and College Startup Influencer. I specialize in resume building, application completion, assessment training, typing expertise, and job searching. With my company, I am most proud of my humble approach. I am proud that my clients don’t just see me as a “service” but a mentor as well. My ability to connect to each and every client in a positive, supporting way is what sets me apart from the others. My mission is to assist my clients with the jump starting tools they’ll need to get an interview, nail it, and start their profession/college career. I also assist with ALL of the United States and Internationally.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was the funny, outgoing, spontaneous kid. Yet I was the most supportive and kind hearted. I was never the one to allow fear to get in the way. I loved heights and snakes lol. I loved school, and dancing was my passion. When I wasn’t fighting with my brothers, I was planning a weekend voyage with my best friends.
