Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Trent.
Kim, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My journey began some time ago, I’ve always had a passion for beauty and fashion. Owning and operating a nail salon and fashion boutique, before moving to Atlanta in 2003. I had hopes of following that same blueprint here in the ATL. I leaned quickly that it might not be as easy as I thought. The Atlanta market was over- saturated with boutiques, so I decided that might not be the best option. Feeling down and not sure what direction I wanted to go, I decided to go work for a well-known spa as a manicurist, while going to school to become an Esthetician. I always wanted a quaint boutique style setup, a place where women could come relax, and feel pretty. I knew I couldn’t just open up doors without having a skin car clientele, so I continue on perfecting my craft, and when the time came for me to make a decision, that’s when Skincare by Kim Bella was born.
I created a space that would allow me to focus on the needs of the client without the hustle and fast paste of turning them in and getting them out. I’m proud to say, that’s just what Skincare by Kim Bella is about, focusing on the needs of the client. Whether it’s a facial, waxing or any of my customized peels, you’ll be sure to leave with a glow.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are definitely challenges, just trying to balance home life and running a business from A to Z, is a struggle all by itself.

Skincare by KimBella, offers, Customized Facials, Brow and Lash Tinting, Microdermabrasion, Reflexology, Chemical Peels, Bridal Makeup and Full Body Waxing. This swanky skincare studio takes pride in being able to work with clients on an individual basis, allowing more time to get to know the client and their lifestyle, which then allows me to choose and determine which treatments and products are best. The moment you enter this studio; your senses will be awakening by aromatherapy scents that help you begin your journey. Skincare by KimBella is like having your own personal trainer for your skin. We will be introducing our new Accessory Bar, some of the hottest pieces from nail polish, and pretty things.
Every time I turn the key to open the doors to skincare by KimBella, and welcoming clients makes me proud! It reminds me why I love what I do.
