Meet Kimistry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimistry.

Hi Kimistry, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m an artist who started doing music when I was 13 years old. I started out as a rap group with my bestfriend but she didn’t want to do music anymore due to personal reasons so I went solo because music is my passion and I didn’t want to stop. Growing up, I would record & produce my own records and some of the songs I made was my own beats using my keyboard and making it work with what I had. I always told myself growing up that once I became an adult, I would move out of state to follow my dreams in entertainment. I did just that and my music is growing by the day, I’ve went viral with my freestyling, I’ve met big artists that I watched and inspired me growing up and I’m just learning new things every day while perfecting my craft.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It had been some rocky roads like having to take some time off music because I was hospitalized for months due to sepsis pneumonia, I had to learn how to get my body back physically able and I had to build my strength back.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a music artist, I specialize in creating music, I have multiple talents but this is what I’m most passionate in. What I’m most proud of is that I haven’t gave up yet with it being so challenging to make it in the industry, and what sets me apart from others is that I just be myself.

What’s next?
My plans for the future is to get better and better at what I’m good at.
