Today we’d like to introduce you to King Grizzy Greg. Them and their team share their story with us below:
King Grizzy Greg was born Gregory Thomas on March 27, 1998 in hackansack New Jersey. Growing up king liked to listen to music and was exposed to different genres from reggae to hiphop/rap to R&b. At the age of 10 king started writing raps and lyrics which he would perform for his friends and classmates at school. Looking up to artist like Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne king was inspired and wanted to take the music route.
In 2009, king moved to Atlanta Georgia where he found more of his sound and being experienced to the new culture with Atlanta being the music state king heard a lot of different music styles from artist like Young thug, T.i, Gucci Mane, etc. king quickly adapted and started become more versatile and wrote and wrote. King was a rapper but more than he likes to sing grizzy joined the choir at his church and learned to use his voice and practiced he still continued rapping and writing and perfecting his distinctive flow.
In 2014 Grizzy started to release music on an online production software called Bandlab alongside his long time friend YFN Aaron who is also a music artist in Atlanta. The two duo collaborated for a year building a well enough fan base dropping solo and collab projects the duo decide and went separate ways. Spreading his music on SoundCloud king started to build a more fan base and drop different kinds of music to see how the listeners would react. In 2016 king started to drop his music in all platforms with his songs like “Complicated” and “Starship” being the first two songs to ever get people to tune in to his music king later dropped an ablum called “Open Minded” and then an ep called “Point of view” they were great project with good sons but leaning towards 2019 king dropped another project called “please be advised” being an update to his sound from the other projects. When 2020 came around Grizzy made a decision to take down all this old music from 2019 to 2015 because he wanted to start fresh and the music he was making wasn’t really his vibe and wasn’t what he wanted for his image.
Grizzy started to go to the studio in 2020 from 2014-2019 grizzy recorded himself in his home studio. And recorded his 2020 tape “Rising star” that helped break him even more into the audience with his hit singles “cold”, “take off”, and “Options “. As well as Danny Phantom. King became more serious in his craft and started building a bigger fan base in all social media and making sure his music is hard and what people can relate to as a result going into 2021 king has been going up in his music and dropping more hits like his ep “black heart” and recent single “Already Famous ft. YFN Aaron” everyone is still rocking with grizzy and still are in tuned with his music. King’s motivation for his music comes from the people around him he says it’s life Itself what we go through what we experience is worth sharing. He says music is like a dream you can talk about how u feel and image and you bring it to life and share it with others that feel the same . King Grizzy is on the way to the top having a distinctive voice and a unique flow. From now and to more many years go past grizzy aims to create great music and vibes for his audience
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road honestly in the beginning having no handouts and having to learn the music game I had to create and teach myself ways of the music industry. But I also can say it was smooth too because now that I’m further in my career there still may be struggles because I have to do more work to get myself out here but it’s better then where I was before.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a recording vocal artist. I am most proud of my accomplishments music being that I have gotten a song to get 20,000 streams in Spotify I have a music video that has 13,000 views and I’m proud that I have music that people enjoy and like. What sets me apart from others is my voice and my style I have a very distinctive voice and my style can be flowed in many different ways.

Success is something that you gain after working hard to achieve your goals and aspirations.
