Kirklan, please share your story with us.
I’m the Founder and creator of XLTribe.com. My site was birthed from an old idea I had to create a community of like-minded guys that was tired of being miss represent and wanted to be displayed in the truest form. Changing the way Big & Tall Men are perceived is the goal for XLTribe.com.
I spent many years of my life unhappy because of my size and weight. Well no more of that shit, now its time for me to follow my true passion and help people who way I’ve been put on this earth too. In creating this site I wanted to create a site that would teach men how to dress for the person they are while helping them become the man they want to be.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Noooooooooooooooooooo. Starting this journey meant I had to deal with my own baggage. The struggles are put myself in front of the camera for the world to judge you.

XL Tribe is a Fashion & Style blog catered to the Big & Tall Man. I’m most proud of being able to celebrate over 100 men of size on the site every year some who have gone on to be signed by a modeling agency and so on. The main thing that sets us apart is our relentless push for more company to recognize us a marketable option.
