Today we’d like to introduce you to Latonia Daniel.
Latonia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
R2BNATURALLY was born out of a desire to stop using cortisone ten cream on my skin it was used to stop the constant itching, flaking, and dry patches I was having, sadly I used it as well as other harsh creams far too often for more than 20 years. Wanting to incorporate a more natural approach to caring for my skin I started developing DIYs for my personal use and when I noticed that my skin was having a positive response to using the natural ingredients, I became more excited, and the more excited I became, the more I educated myself and the more I wanted to learn. My formulations have become more elaborate. I now incorporate ingredients based on the properties they bring to the formulation and what problems or enhancements they can address in skincare.
Because of my own trial and errors, I know a natural approach to skincare is not a one size fit all nor is it the quick fix we have become accustomed to, but my vision for R2B is that it will become a catalyst for people who would like to give natural skincare products a try and keep them excited enough to keep using natural ingredients even if it means trying out different products. I want them to discover the gifts that nature offers us while also helping the environment. R2Bnaturally makes no medical claims, but using my products, your skin will be clean, less dry, feel softer, and look healthier.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has not and is not smooth. I happen to love creating products that have a lot of competition. There are struggles to set me apart. I also work full time while trying to make R2Bnaturally a success and there are moments that I find it hard to motivate myself.

R2Bnaturally makes skincare products using natural and organic ingredients, specializing in making everyday special. R2Bnaturally holds events called The R2B Experience: an evening of nourishing and restorative self-care.
At The Experience guests are served and pampered; at the end of our time together, not only will they walk away with an all-natural skin care product made by them, they are also provided with a practical guide along with suggestions they can use to create their own intentional self-care moments. R2B also has a podcast on Anchor platform called Being Intentional: providing a practical guide to creat intentional self moments in our everyday.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was pretty soft-spoken, a bit shy, and a pretty well-mannered kid; I did not get in much trouble pretty much a rule follower.
