LaTosha aka TouchedByTosha is a Professional Makeup artist in Atlanta Ga! Being in the industry professionally since 2012 she has worked with Brenda Wood of 11 Alive News, the daughter of the late Dr Martin Luther King Bernice King, Taraji P Henson, Janelle Monae, Kayla Smith, Miss USA 2016, 90’s R &B group Take 6 and has been published in magazines such as Hype Hair, Kontrol, Hip Hop Weekly and Rolling Out!
LaTosha has a lot of knowledge in the makeup industry and have dealt with all aspects of the business being a self-taught artist. Latosha is constantly keeping her work fresh and keeping up with the new trends and techniques in an industry that’s constantly changing.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were a lot of stuffles. Here are a lot of Makeup artist in Atlanta so just trying to find your spot and where you fit in can struggle within its self. I always thought “How will I get people to trust this new artist and gain clientele “ I stayed true to me and my style and it all worked out.
Touched By Tosha – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a makeup artist and Lash extension artist. I specialize in timeless makeup looks that go from day to night easily without looking “overdone”. I also specialize in beautiful classic natural looking lashes you can’t tell aren’t your own!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Working with Janelle Monaè and the only celebrity on my vision board Taraji P Henson! It was a dream and a pleasure working with those ladies!! Also being known for being a great/professional artist!!
