Today we’d like to introduce you to Leah Taylor.
Leah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I gained interest in the Fashion World at an early age with inspiration from my family. I moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia to attend college and study fashion design/merchandising. Still on a journey to perfect my craft I worked in many other areas of the fashion industry. It was during this journey that I correctly positioned myself and would later initiate my career as a fashion stylist. My work has been featured in Vogue Magazine, People Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter & Essence Magazine with a clientele list that includes Lala Anthony, Toni Braxton, Roselyn Sanchez, Tamar Braxton, Nene Leakes, Kim Biermann, Monica Brown, Brandy, Kelly Rowland, Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges, Marjorie Harvey, Will Packer, & Nicole Ari Parker. Currently, I have a show on The Design Network called “Celebrity House Sitting” where I am doing a little more than fashion styling. I am giving styling advice for homes and also giving the viewer’s celebrity home sneak peeks and closet tours.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have been very blessed to have found my passion early on. However, It has not been a smooth road. I started fashion styling full time in 2008 and the process of obtaining wardrobe for my clients was fairly new to Atlanta and I had to jump through hoops just to get clothes out of the stores for my clients. Now since Atlanta has more films being made locally, stores and designers have implement new policies for stylists such as myself to get wardrobe for photoshoots, special events, video shoots and film which makes styling in Atlanta better.
Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about you and your career so far?
My company is called Leah Taylor Style. I am a fashion stylist who specializes in all things fashion… Fashion/Wardrobe Styling, Closet Organization, Image Consulting, Style Influencer, Creative Director & Fashion Designer. I am known for my stamp of approval #TaylordApproved which highlights my favorite things in fashion. I am most proud of my clientele list and how I have grown as an individual and a company, and also how my popularity on social media has earned me a TV show on The Design Network. What sets me apart from others is my professionalism, my passion, and how I make all my clients feel like celebrities. I work with women and men that have everyday 9-5 jobs, as well as celebs you see everyday on television. Just because you are not a star doesn’t mean you can’t look like one.
What were you like growing up?
Being the second oldest of five children, I would say that I was a very responsible, easy-going and of course lovable child 🙂 I have always had an interest in fashion and the fashion world. As a little girl I would be in awe watching music videos, award shows, and beauty pageants not knowing that I was training myself to have an eye for fashion.

- Special Event Rates starting at $600
- Personal Shopping Rates starting at $1000 budget with 30% of budget fee to be paid to stylist upon shopping experience.
