So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started out with one rental, saved my money up then bought three more rentals to add to my portfolio. After that, I added to my knowledge and got into a creative deal-making which led me to whole selling, fixing n flips and buying/hold.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth in and that you have to continue always evolving and learning. There’s always new information to learn in the world of real estate. Most of this information is free on the Internet; however, to get there faster, you better off paying for it. Also, you have to be careful of false information or bad information. I hit a bump in the road when I got a mentor who did not have a true course and only let me down a road of going in circles and frustrations.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about LAP Investments – what should we know?
My company specializes in finding real estate deals there or at a discounted rate where I can choose to either buy wholesale or fix and flip. I am known for being able to continuously find great deals on a weekly bases. I’m most proud of that I am able to help solve problems for homeowners who have no other options. Also, my company helps with financial literacy and that we help people learn how to use the credit to the advantage.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The qualities that you have to have to have success is consistency, tough skin and a humble spirit.
