Hi Leisa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I knew as a little girl that always wanted to be a business owner, 8 years old to be exact. When my cousin or friends came over to the house I always wanted to style their hair like their mom. So I would take down their ponytails and restyle it. So fast forward to high school my school offered cosmetology so I took cosmetology my jr and sr until I graduate early. The local schools had a cosmetology contest which offered a scholarship to the winner to pay for cosmetology school. I won the scholarship. When I graduated I worked a salon or 2 for about a 1 1/2. I open my salon at the age of 23 yrs old I’ve helped and motivated several women over the years from behide the chair. I’ve had a reality show shoot in my salon. Between these businesses I was investing in real estate and flipping property. I closed the doors up on my salon for good in 2022. In 2019 I open a Transportation company Longway Transportation where I’ve employed some good driver to drive for my company and yes I did have some bad apples in the drivers pool. But for the most part these young ladies and men respected me as a business woman. When the freight prices went down I closed shop and Open Platinum Consulting Agency as a business advisor I help entrepreneurs to start a business and show them how to scale their business with digital products. I started it mentor new logistics owners. Since I’ve been an investor for quite sometime I decide to get my Real estate license to help individuals with owning a home. I love pouring into people anything I can do to help and motivate I will help. Today I’m a realtor with one of Atlanta largest brokerage Better Homes and Gardens Metro Brokers where I’m making people dream of owning their dream home into reality.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been easy. My journey has had plenty of ups and downs. There were times I had to start over, times I didn’t know where the next opportunity would come from. I’ve been through slow seasons, financial struggles, and moments where I questioned if I was doing the right thing.

But every setback taught me something. I learned that failure isn’t final it’s just feedback. It taught me to pray harder, move smarter, and trust the process. What kept me going was knowing that I’ve got people watching my family, my clients, my community. I didn’t come this far to stop now.

I’ve had to be my own motivation some days, but I’ve learned that peace, faith, and persistence will take you places hustle alone can’t. The challenges made me stronger and gave me the wisdom I use to help others today.

I started this company after seeing too many business owners especially in trucking, beauty, and real estate doing great work but missing the structure they needed to grow. I wanted to change that. What sets us apart is that I’ve lived the journey. I’ve owned multiple businesses, from a salon to a transportation company to real estate, so I don’t just teach from theory I teach from experience.
