Meet Leisa Presmanes of Presmanes Interiors @ Studio A

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leisa Presmanes.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
In 2006 I had an urge to jump back into the workforce after being an at home mom for about 10 years. My close friend and I brainstormed about starting a business focused on helping Realtors with their listings. Fluffing up homes for sale was the idea. Little did we know how much the industry would grow at the time. Having an eye for design and the confidence to put ourselves out there we reached out to Atlanta Realtors.

Zac Pasmanick, a very successful Atlanta Realtor, was the first to enlist our services. Shortly afterward, others joined and we were suddenly very busy. As this piece of our business grew we added decorating services to the new homeowners. The rest is history. I now have an interior design studio and home decor boutique in Candler Park, an up and coming neighborhood in midtown Atlanta. I have a full team of professionals who assist me with my business and have recently hired a design assistant, Courtney Wilson, who does a great job of making me look good.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth ride. A few years into the business my partner decided to pursue another path. I could see the business potential and continued to plug away. Soon, the housing market began to slow and we were in a recession. Ironically, as the housing market slowed decorating projects seemed to pick up enough to keep the business moving ahead. People were remaining in their homes and making small updates.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Presmanes Interiors @ Studio A – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Based just outside of intown Atlanta, Presmanes Interiors is a full-service decorating and home decor business. We specialize in residential interior decorating and work closely with architects and builders to create livable homes for our clients. I love most the process of getting to know my clients, efficiently managing their projects, and creating timeless spaces for them. It is a wonderful feeling to have built trust and loyalty with them.

I am most proud of where I am today and how my business has grown. I took a leap of faith with the blessing of my husband Jimmy, and daughter, Emily and opened Studio A, my design, and home decor boutique. I have not looked back. Having my own studio has been the most rewarding experience of my working career.

What sets me apart is my team, their expertise, and attention to detail. We love the process of getting to know our clients and helping them create beautiful homes. We have repeat clients who we have worked with for years decorating their primary and vacation homes from Atlanta to NYC.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love Atlanta and the surrounding areas. It is rich with beautiful homes that were built in the early 1900’s to modern day homes. Our client base is a mix of traditional to modern. Atlanta is a wonderful place to live.
