Today we’d like to introduce you to Leticia Covarrubias.
Leticia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My business started as more of a calling.
From day one, I was terrified, yet so inspired.
Without realizing it then, I sort of had this “if you build it, they will come” sort of attitude.
I started by creating a website for Colour Gypsy.
I went straight to social media, after realizing how expressive I am most days.
I needed an outlet for what I wanted to share, which worked out because it helped a lot with marketing.
Soon after, I felt it was time to push myself out of my comfort zone.
I then participated in many flea markets, vintage markets, events, pop up shops; anything to put myself out there.
The first three years of Colour Gypsy, my mantra was definitely, “Say yes!”
Every invite, every contact I made, every suggestion, idea, invite, I chose to say yes to it all.
And I am so happy that I did.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been an extremely rewarding journey, but I would not say it has always been smooth.
The first year was definitely the hardest on me mentally and emotionally.
I had to make a lot of sacrifices, such as a steady income, free time, my energy, etc.
The first year was extremely exciting, yet it required a lot of my time and energy, which did cause some anxiety at times.
I have definitely learned to take it day by day.
Tell us about your business/company. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
I am a Medium/Mystic/Aura Reader. I specialize in chromotherapy.
I provide remote/over the phone aura sessions. Using clairvoyance and clairsentience, I connect to aura colors, loved ones who have crossed over, spiritual guides, and nature to provide healing and/or helpful guidance.
I am known for using color and flowers as a form of communication during sessions.
I am also known for speaking with spiritually gifted children and/or children with autism using clairsentience.
I am proud to have found my soul’s calling and to be able to assist others in healing their mind, body, heart, and soul.
I feel as if I have more in common with other healers and aura readers than I feel like I am set apart from them.
We sort of having this deep understanding of one another. Maybe that’s just me seeing it that way, haha, but that’s just how I see it.
I believe people like me exist in all areas of life, we all have our own unique way of healing when it’s time.
Whether we are healing the planet, family, or friends by listening, giving advice, recycling, or volunteering.
I believe all healers are healers in the exact way they are meant to heal.
We attract the people into our lives according to the type of healing we provide, which is kind of cool because I get to attract the clients/friends I am meant for and are meant for me, which works out perfectly.
So, to see or hear of other mediums, mystics, aura readers, healers, shamans, etc. I get excited because there are people out there with beautiful intentions. It’s also exciting to channel one another, we learn a lot from each other.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see this industry growing much much more in the next few years.
