Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It was hard for me to regroup after I beat cancer, I lost about 40 pounds. I couldn’t eat anything because the Chemotherapy had me without an appetite. I could barely walk I didn’t have the strength to play sports, so for about two years I was inactive, thank god I’m back to normal and playing sports and healthy doing what I love. Which is music and playing basketball! I also had to deal with the shame of going bald no hair for about two years my hair came out and I was ashamed of that and always wore a hat for a long Period of time until my hair grew back. My immune system was weak so I couldn’t be around people only family. I couldn’t be around kids either so it kind of felt like being in a holding cell for about two years the way they kept me isolated.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m known for my music as I sent! Lil savvy is my music name! I’m proud at the fact I’m doing gospel hip hop and helping run my dad’s business and he is a pastor in Stone Mountain!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My definition of success is doing what you love, making money, being healthy and have a healthy relationship with your friends and family. That’s my definition of success.
