Meet Lillie Young of I AM LILLIE YOUNG INC.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lillie Young.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my journey at such a young age. It lead me to writing my autobiography The Purple Cinderella. The ball rolls on, I have now written 4 books. I am in the acting field as well. I have acted in television series and movies. From motivational speaker to receiving Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden. A year ago I created my magazine Queen Magazine. I showcase people of color. I supply the opportunity some may never be able to receive. Queen Magazine is a print and digital magazine.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the road not has been smooth. My entire childhood I was raped and molested. But that lead me to the journey of writing my autobiography The Purple Cinderella. It allowed me to shatter the glass ceiling to childhood abuse. My book has helped so many victims of abuse. I experienced every form of abuse when I was a child.

As you know, we’re big fans of I AM LILLIE YOUNG INC.. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I have an online store I AM LILLIE YOUNG, iamlillieyoung.com. I sell my organic brands. I have a lipstick beauty product THE RED LIPSTICK HUSTLER. I birthed my organic hair growth oil QUEEN LILLIE HAIR GROWTH OIL as well around the same I created my lipstick brand. I created both products during the pandemic.

I like to do Queen things so it was imperative that I birthed QUEEN MAGAZINE.

Right now I would say my autobiography THE PURPLE CINDERELLA and QUEEN MAGAZINE are my most proud brands wise.

My organic beauty products are all natural.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Even in a storm, tower moment keep going, push through the pain. Joy comes in the morning. Count it all joy!
