Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Duvall.
Hi Lindsey , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career more than 15 years ago in the hospitality industry, working for family-owned and small businesses where I learned how every moving piece of a business fits together. Over time, I became the person owners relied on to organize operations, manage projects, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Eventually, I realized my skill wasn’t just administration. I realized it was problem-solving, strategy, and being a steady partner for busy leaders. That led me to start my own business, where I now support entrepreneurs and small businesses as a high-level virtual assistant and project manager. Today, I focus on building long-term relationships, creating systems that actually work, and helping my clients reclaim their time so they can focus on growing what matters most.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many business owners, I’ve had to learn through experiencing the roller coaster of owning a business over the last 5 years. I was figuring things out as I went, making mistakes, and adjusting along the way. Early on, I struggled with confidence and boundaries, often taking on too much because I wanted to do a great job and support everyone fully.
There were moments of uncertainty and financial stress. But those seasons taught me the importance of trusting my experience, setting clearer expectations, and building a business that’s in alignment with my “why”.
Each challenge helped shape how I work today: with more clarity, intention, and balance. I’m grateful for those lessons because they’ve allowed me to show up as a better partner to my clients and create work that truly feels aligned.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Golden Solution was built to provide steady, thoughtful support for businesses that need clarity and structure behind the scenes. I offer high-level virtual assistant and project management services for entrepreneurs and small business owners, with a focus on operations, systems, and workflow that allow businesses to function more efficiently.
I’m known for quickly understanding how a business operates and stepping in as a trusted partner who brings calm, organization, and follow-through. My background in hospitality and small business environments shaped a proactive, relationship-driven approach rooted in anticipation, care, and consistency.
What sets my work apart is a focus on outcomes rather than hours, and on long-term relationships rather than one-off tasks. I’m most proud of the trust I’ve built and the reputation my brand holds for reliability, integrity, and thoughtful support.
At its core, The Golden Solution gets to do what we love, while you get to focus on what matters the most for your business.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about the city is its character and sense of community. There’s a strong creative energy and a genuine spirit of people supporting one another. It feels like a place where small businesses can grow and ideas are encouraged.
What I like least is the pace at times; as the city grows, it can feel busy and overwhelming. That contrast has pushed me to be more intentional about balance, both in life and in business.
