Today we’d like to introduce you to Lizeth Gomez.
Lizeth, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Momskloset was established back in 2015 and it was originally a place where moms can show their creative sides and share ideas. I always enjoyed decorating my daughter’s parties and loved to see my ideas shared. That is where the name comes from. In summer 2017 is when things really turned around for me. I got into the abstract balloon installation. I felt so in love with creating things with balloons.
Balloons is such a trend now and people don’t just get balloons for kids parties. I believe I do more balloon installation for adults than kids. During this time I also found how my business can give back. I am a big advocate for children who lost a parent through cancer. It hits so close to home that I can relate to what these kids go through when they are missing a parent.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it has not been smooth. I am a full-time Spanish teacher and a full-time mom with a full-time business. Hahaha, so there has been some bumpy roads. I have failed big time! But I’ve learned through those failures!
Those failures make me who I am. All I can say is if you fall get up and try again. Since I didn’t let failure stop me my business has grown. I have done some balloon installation to people I look up to and feel very proud of doing work for them.

Well, we are a premier balloon installation company. I specialize in abstract balloon installation. My most requested work is an organic balloon garland. It basically is a balloon garland of different size balloons and colors.
I really love supporting other woman business. I follow and like other balloon boss babes in Atlanta that do the same thing I do! I believe in community over competition.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I currently provide a service and I want to be able to provide a product as well. I want to have my own balloon boutique here in Atlanta. I am starting with an online store first.
