Today we’d like to introduce you to Lorenzo Thrash.
Hi Lorenzo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a creative entrepreneur, media producer, and systems builder based in Atlanta. My journey hasn’t followed a traditional path—I’ve always been driven by building platforms rather than fitting into them. Over time, that mindset pushed me into creating businesses and creative ecosystems that help artists and brands turn ideas into tangible, monetized experiences.
I work closely alongside Dalo Keys, and together we collaborate across music production, creative direction, and experimental formats that blend technology with culture. While Dalo focuses heavily on sound and musical execution, I operate at the intersection of music, media, and infrastructure—building the systems around the art that allow it to scale.
I currently run and operate multiple ventures, including ZoMediaGroup, a media and branding company specializing in photography, videography, content strategy, and digital storytelling for artists and businesses. I’m also the creator behind Rolling Recordz, a mobile and virtual music studio concept that allows artists to record, collaborate, and showcase their music in non-traditional spaces—both physically and digitally. This has expanded into live streams, virtual radio, and immersive listening experiences.
Another major focus of mine is developing interactive and virtual environments that bring creatives together in real time. I build digital worlds and platforms where artists can network, perform, create music, and connect with audiences in ways that go beyond social media. My goal is always the same: ownership, longevity, and community.
Everything I do centers around empowering creatives—especially independent artists—to move with intention, structure, and confidence. I’ve learned through experience that talent alone isn’t enough; you need systems, vision, and consistency. That belief is what drives my work today and what continues to push me toward building something bigger than myself. My creative name is ZoDowg Halakha
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building without a blueprint. A lot of what I do sits at the intersection of music, media, and technology, and there wasn’t a clear example to follow—so I had to learn through trial, error, and consistency.
Another major obstacle has been resources and timing. I’ve often had the vision before I had the funding, the team, or the external validation. That meant wearing multiple hats at once—creator, engineer, marketer, manager—while still maintaining quality and momentum.
There were also challenges around perception. When you don’t fit into one box, people can struggle to understand your value early on. I’ve had to learn how to communicate my vision clearly while still trusting the process and not shrinking what I’m building to make others comfortable.
On a personal level, balancing family, health, and entrepreneurship has been real. There were moments where progress felt slow, but those seasons taught me discipline, patience, and how to build systems that don’t rely on burnout.
Every obstacle forced me to refine my approach. Instead of stopping, I focused on structure, ownership, and long-term thinking—and that mindset is what continues to move everything forward.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a multidisciplinary creative and entrepreneur working across music, media, and digital experiences. At my core, I specialize in building platforms around creativity—not just content, but the systems that allow artists and brands to grow, monetize, and connect with real audiences.
I run ZoMediaGroup, where I handle photography, videography, branding, and content strategy for creatives and businesses looking to elevate their presence. I’m also the founder of Rolling Recordz, a mobile and virtual music studio concept that gives artists access to professional recording, live sessions, and immersive listening experiences outside of traditional studio settings. Through this, I’ve been able to merge music production, live streaming, and interactive environments into one ecosystem.
I also work closely alongside Dalo Keys, collaborating on music-focused projects where sound, visuals, and technology intersect. While the music is the foundation, my role often expands into creative direction, technical execution, and experience design—making sure the art has structure and longevity behind it.
What I’m most proud of is building from the ground up while staying independent and intentional. Instead of chasing trends, I focus on ownership, scalability, and community. What sets me apart is my ability to think like a creator and build like an architect—I don’t just help artists make something dope, I help them create something sustainable.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with me in a few different ways, depending on alignment and intention. I’m always open to creative collaboration, especially with artists, producers, and visionaries who are interested in building something meaningful rather than just chasing quick moments.
Through ZoMediaGroup, people can collaborate with me on branding, content creation, photography, videography, and creative direction. With Rolling Recordz, artists can work with me through mobile recording sessions, curated live experiences, and platform-based opportunities designed to showcase their music in a more immersive way.
I also collaborate with other creatives, developers, and producers on experimental projects that blend music, media, and technology—often alongside people like Dalo Keys—where the focus is on innovation, ownership, and long-term growth.
The best way to support what I do is by engaging with the work, sharing the vision, and being intentional about collaboration. I believe in building with people, not just working for them, so I’m always looking for partnerships that feel mutual, sustainable, and forward-thinking.
