Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam McDaniel.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Adam. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
LTX is a Freight Management company located in Atlanta, GA. In 2009, my father and I started a brokerage business that was an addition/spinoff of his warehousing/trucking business. LTX grew over the years to encompass more service product offerings and develop robust technology offerings for its clients. In 2016, my father and I partnered with a private equity firm out of Jacksonville, FL to sell off the warehousing/trucking company and fully pivot into freight management technology deployment. LTX Solutions came into existence and is one of the fastest growing LTL management companies on the market today.
Over the years there have been many hardships and challenges but we’ve met each and every one with an open mind to create solutions that work best for our clients and employees alike. The end result is what the American Dream is all about and I could not be prouder of our team, success, and overall ability to adapt along the way at such a young age. We look forward to the next chapters for LTX Solutions!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is never a smooth road when building a business from scratch. The only advantage we had was that we knew the industry. Other than that, my team and I fought every day to ensure we were better than the day before. As a company grows there are unforeseen challenges that arise along the way. Accounting advancement, new technology creation, team build out and talent acquisition, partnership changes, etc.
Each of these is a different type of challenge and causes a customized solution each time. Looking back over the last 6-7 years it is nothing short of amazing, not only that we’re still here, but thriving because of the way we handled the struggles. The struggle is real for all entrepreneurs and we are no different.

I’m most proud of LTX’s ability to continue to unwaiver in a large, extremely competitive, industry. We continue to carve out a niche that not only assists our clients but also disrupts the large, and mostly very slow, transportation industry. I’ve been involved in logistics since I could walk and I couldn’t be happier working at a company that truly cares to make a difference.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
When we were 11 years old we won the Dizzy Dean World Series. This is equivalent to winning the Little League World Series on the domestic side. It was my first taste of truly winning on a large scale. I believe that day set me up with the insatiable attitude to win. Competition drives me the most and, as my friends and family would attest, I absolutely despise losing. I’m not a poor loser I just hate it. Always have. Having a mindset to create a process to allow for greatest success is one of my greatest attributes. Thanks to 11-year-old me and that team for instilling this in me at such an early age.
