Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Trejo.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started working in my trade as a summer job back in high school, I picked up trash and did the heavy lifting. As time went by, I saw the potential of where it could lead me. I worked hard, build experience, met the right people along the way: builders, contractors, and homeowners. Five years later, Georgia Flooring Solutions was created (2016). Since then, we’ve grown more then what I imagined, we specialize in all types of flooring from unfinished hardwood to commercial vinyl plank, build design templates and offer free financing.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh no, but that’s what I love about it. If it was easy, then everyone would do it. Every obstacle along the way has helped us evolve and fix future problems. But one of the major things I’ve struggled with personally is my age. Often times people ask me how long I’ve been in business and stuff like that, it takes a while for me to gain their trust. But once I show them my reviews and ratings from real previous clients of mine, then that gives me more credibility.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Georgia Flooring Solutions – what should we know?
We specialize in everything that’s flooring related. Residential and commercial. We refinish old hardwood floors, install new hardwood, bamboo or unfinished, carpet, laminate, tile or vinyl. You name it, we do it.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Being humble, most people get carried away with their success that they forget where they started. So, staying humble regardless of how big or small of a success we have, that’s a big thing for me
