Meet Money Marco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Money Marco.

Thanks for sharing your story with us M0ney. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m 20 years old I started rapping for fun when I was 15 through an audio engineer who use to volunteer at my high school. I was good at what I did so I started to release some music and it caught more attention than I thought it would through spirilla. Afterwards, I decided to take music seriously and start to actually try to make a career from it since I never seen anyone come from where I’m from make it besides young thug back then. I continued to make music but I haven’t released any major projects until my upcoming project projected to release this winter. I feel as if I really progressed through the years which is why I haven’t released much new music because I want people to hear my new style and understand the real me. I want people to actually take me serious instead of looking at me like they look at every other local artist trying to make it out.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had struggles with getting people to actually hear my music but I feel with my upcoming project people are bound to smell me one way or another. Other than that, I haven’t really had many struggles more like things that I had to deal with in real life that built my character helping me talking about more in my music giving my fans the real me.

We’d love to hear more about your music.
I’m an artist so I try to make versatile music not just for the streets but for those who have emotions as well. I want anybody to be able to listen to me and not label me in a box like most rapper do. I’m proud of what I’m becoming because I feel with the right promotion, I can be the next big thing from where I’m from. What sets me apart is I have a unique voice as well as my ability to rap and make song about real life issue I face. I make music about almost anything I go through which gives me a more organic approach unlike others who just rap about the same thing every song.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career I would say is me meeting me producer’s easy money Caleb & Narquise. They really are top tier producers they just are low key in the music industry but they really believed in my talent took me under their wing and kind of provided me with real authentic beats to where I can really showcase my talent. They are very versatile like me so we work well together. I believe we all can make a huge impact once my project drops and people get to actually hear us together.
