I live for Winter holidays, lazy days in bed with a good book, sappy movies, a good sweat session in the gym, shopping, clinical pathology and quality time with my family (husband & 2 daughters). I’ve always had a love for putting gifts together, especially around the holidays. I was always meticulous and take pride in understanding the value of my gifts from my recipient’s point of view. I chose gifts that were meaningful, useful, occasion specific, well designed, beautiful, but didn’t break the bank (my husband appreciated the last part about the bank). Combining my LOVE for shopping (mostly snagging a good deal) and my husband’s love for technology, Madianite Gift Concierge and Boutique was born. We hope to provide the best products, the best service, the best experience, and a hassle-free way to stay connected, show gratitude, and maintain relationships, both professional and personal.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Transitioning the venture from a hobby to a business was much more challenging than one could expect. We quickly realize that competing with major retailers is particularly hard due to competitive pricing compared to the value of our services. We also recognized what we brought to the table was a wholistic and comprehensive approach which gave us a competitive advantage and therefore did not have to compromise on quality nor sacrifice great service.

MADIANITE Gift Concierge is a gifting experience company. We partner with companies of any size to curate gifts for their recipients and/or events. From design, to gift acquisition, gift branding, gift assembly, custom gift wrapping until your gift is delivered to your recipient’s door, we handle the entire process. We provide concierge service that manages a company’s gift event calendar. We also cater to individual through our free gift event calendar management app. Individuals can create an account, list recipients’ gift events, set a budget and we handle the rest! We specialized in curating one of a kind gift experiences, unique gifts, and professional gift wrapping. We are proud to provide a valuable service that levels the playing field for smaller companies, allow larger companies to offload their gifting task in our capable hands so they can focus on other tasks. We’re different because we’re more comprehensive. Our non-transactional approach sets us apart and we focus on building a relationship base on value and trust first. Our clients trust us to operate in their best interest.
What were you like growing up?
I grew up in a single family household. Mother worked to provide for what seemed like her entire neighborhood. I learned to always share with others – when you share you’ll never go without. Whether food or resource. I learned to be a team player – Unity is strength. I learned to work hard – talent + hard work is unstoppable. All characteristic traits that are proven to be necessary for the success of my business.
