Today we’d like to introduce you to Mahogany Henderson.
Mahogany, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started as an aspiring writer, reciting poetry and lyrics all the way until I reached college. My journey evolved when I started attending the University of Missouri-St. Louis and I found the opportunity to take part in Umsl Radio as a Radio personality and DJ, which is one of the few college radio stations based in St. Louis, MO. I began hosting fundraisers, festivals and tours of my own under my company, “Most Precious Promotions’ which has opened up many doors for me in the entertainment industry. The more events I participated in over the years, the more I found my passion for creating happy moments as a curator. I got to experience more nightlife and embark as a Special guest DJ in some of the best establishments worldwide.
As I grew as an entertainer, I was presented with the chance to join Carnival Cruise Lines and became a DJ back in April 2018 and continue to grow within that field ever since. I am a published writer and currently working on releasing my debut book. Created ten years ago, Most Precious Promotions has created some great memories for people around the world through our authentic networking events and consulting services. This journey has been impressive and mind-blowing.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This journey has had its challenges but as I grow as a businesswoman, the challenges presented at first did not impact me as much as before. Once I found my full potential, the rest of the travel was smooth.

Most Precious Promotions and DJ Mos Precious are two of the same. Most Precious Promotions is a full-service company that offers professional services for entertainers worldwide. We are honored to have clients from Ghana to all the way to St. Louis, MO. We specialize in creating great vibes, social media marketing and event curating. We are known for our authentic methods, long term client relationships and guaranteed results. As a company, I am most proud for the longevity and adaptable manners we have been able to perform over the last ten years. What sets my company apart from others are our core values and authentic mindset in conjunction. Plus, owning a minority, woman that empowers businesses destiny to change the world through entertainment. Even though the journey will not always be easy, the determination inside of me will keep me ambitious and hunger for success.
What were you like growing up?
I was very introverted, I love writing and listening to music a lot. I always found myself advocating for someone or something. I love curating and strategizing methods to bring brands to a newer light, plus creating happiness through words of empowerment.
