Meet Maiya Campbell of Pro-Finish Auto Detail in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maiya Campbell.

Maiya, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Since a young age, my passion for cars has continued to grow. A few weeks before my 19th birthday, I decided to invest in myself and become an entrepreneur. At that moment, I knew auto detailing would be the perfect business to start. I studied the business then began to wash cars in my driveway, and grew from there. I’ve gotten to where I am by simply believing that I can achieve great things, as can anyone. Knowing that my thoughts are very powerful has played a big part of my accomplishments.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Even though suffering from anxiety has been the most difficult part of my journey, I never used it as an excuse. It hasn’t been a smooth road at all, but I managed to get through all of the obstacles. My business has helped me evolve mentally more than anything.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Pro-Finish Auto Detail – what should we know?
Pro-Finish Automotive Detail is a mobile detailing company that provides quality service to the residents of Atlanta and surrounding areas. To be known for being the youngest female detailer in Atlanta is what sets me apart from others. I’m most proud of being able to detail the cars owned by some of our favorite celebrities, which is something I never imagined. My goal is to become the best version of myself and allow my business to reach its full potential while inspiring others to do the same. I’m looking forward to expanding my business by collaborating with other young entrepreneurs to help make a difference in our community.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Having a positive mindset is definitely the most important trait of my success. I’ve faced many trials but training my mind to seek the good in every situation has always got me through. Everything has happened the exact way it was supposed to happen, and for that I am grateful.
