Today we’d like to introduce you to Lawrence Malloy.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Lawrence. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started with the concept of doing my own show ordeal when I was a Senior at The Fort Valley State University. I knew that I always wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives and why not do that through storytelling.
Storytelling comes in many forms but impactful storytelling truly makes a difference in other people’s lives. I aim to truly make an impact in other people’s lives just by using my voice and platform to promote the growth and prosperity of others!
The Malloy Show is a concept of a YouTube Show that highlights the positive difference that individuals make in each other’s lives! Change is inevitable and it is the formation behind what grows to be something beautiful!
It is honestly amazing to be in the position that I am in today. Without the support of many families, friends, and my amazing fiancé; I wouldn’t be able to do half of the things that I do today!
Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing has been easy about the process of building my brand and building the show. I have often times been told that my voice isn’t needed when in fact others say that it is! I have also struggled with growing a positive platform. When we look at mainstream media, it is nothing but clouded with negativity and positivity often times get overlooked!
I have, never the less, persisted and never gave up! My message for anyone that wants to do anything in life is to simply “Go After it with ALL that you have.” When you go into things with passion, it will be a success! People will love your passion and energy behind what you are building!
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am truly proud that I have built and sustained a brand that has done nothing but promoted positivity and empowerment. The Malloy Show isn’t the biggest show on YouTube but that’s okay, as long as the right people are being impacted by it, is all that matters!
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I really see The Malloy Show growing into an international platform because everyone has the right to have their story told! Positive and amazing individuals are not only located here within Atlanta, but they are also worldwide!
