Quality pressure solutions was founded on the belief that pressure washing is much more than just blasting dirt away. To us it’s more of a science, perhaps even an art. We started with just two small pressure washers, a desire to learn, and the drive to succeed. I can still remember our first customer.
We spent 12 hours that day washing, brushing, moving equipment, sweating, and rinsing until we were satisfied with the results. That customer was so impressed by our hard work and his results that he actually paid us more than we had priced for that job. We couldn’t believe it! It was at that moment we knew the journey would be hard, but it would all be worth it in the end. We spent the next year training, studying, watching instructional videos, and learning our craft so that we could become leaders in our field. As we’ve grown we have been able to help our customers by educating them on the proper methods we use to give them the safest clean possible. We believe that this educational process is the most beneficial for everyone even if they don’t use our services. As we have grown over the past few years we have continually invested in high-quality tools, equipment, and techniques which have allowed us to drive down labor time and has enabled us to stay highly competitive with other larger more tenured companies. We are still a growing company, and are thankful to all the people and customers around us for their support. The trust they have put in us to restore and renew what many times is their largest investment is sincerely humbling.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We know there will always be challenges and obstacles when running our business and trust us, we’ve had many. We believe it’s how we overcome those challenges and obstacles that molds us into who we are at QPS. As entrepreneurs, you really have to wear many hats especially when just starting out, but whats important is that you love the journey. Our first obstacle was taking a “pressure washing company” and growing it into a brand name synonymous with professional results, top tier customer service, trustworthiness, and reliability.
Providing those qualities to our customers was the first step, and consistent social media activity is our #1 way of spreading the word. Some of our other obstacles were sourcing the right chemicals to clean with, finding reliable equipment, adapting to an ever-changing market, and learning not how to sell, but how to educate people so they can make the right decision. We know we will continue to face different more challenging obstacles as we grow, but we feel confident we will overcome these keeping our customers at the forefront of our thought process.
Quality Pressure Solutions – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We believe we are much more than just “pressure washers”, we like to think of ourselves as exterior cleaning specialists. We specialize in advanced methods to clean, restore, and remove stains on all types of exterior surfaces including wood, brick, concrete, stucco, vinyl, and everything in-between.
Our specialized methods generally utilize very low pressure ranging anywhere from as low as a few hundred psi up to as much as few thousand psi depending on what type of surface is being cleaned. This allows us to properly clean those surfaces while protecting their safety and integrity. We are proud to be able to offer our customers a complete exterior cleaning solution for their homes or business and we believe our no hassle process, advanced “safe clean” techniques, and outstanding customer service are just a few things that set us apart from the competition.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Personally, there is no secret formula for success. It is not gained by the accumulation of wealth, but by the hard-work and persistence required to create something great and make the world a better place. Success is derived from the mindset that failures are opportunities to learn and grow. Waking up Monday morning excited for the week ahead because you love what you do, truly believing that the products or services you offer are genuinely beneficial for your customers and at the end of the week, knowing you’ve really helped your community is the true definition of success.
