Meet Maria Sims of Maria Sims Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Sims.

Maria, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started in the real estate market during one of the worst market downturns in history, but I was too stubborn to give up and leave. I knew that I could push through the economic downturn to continue helping people find the right homes for them, and with the help of my wonderful team, we were able to succeed. In fact, we ended up doing so well that first year that I received the ERA International Rookie of the year award. Once my team and I found a system that worked for us, we kept using it and finding, even more, ways to connect with our customers and give them a positive experience. Today, I can look back and say that I’m so proud of how far we’ve come, and I wake up every day with the knowledge that we’ll keep pushing forward to find even more ways to succeed.

Has it been a smooth road?
As a mom of two and a professional in a market where the work never really stops, I’ve had to find ways to put my family and God first while still giving my all to my business and ensuring that we’re providing a quality experience for our clients every single time. Luckily, I’ve been blessed with a wonderfully supportive community that is always pushing me to succeed. I know that no matter what challenge I take on, those same people will help me accomplish my goals and encourage me to go out there and dream big.

Led by Maria Sims, our hard-working team makes it our primary goal to ensure that our clients feel supported throughout the entire seamless process of buying and selling. Part of what helps us accomplish this is the design center and staging process that are complimentary with every listing we do. Professional photography will also help capture your house looking it’s very best.

Our expertise ranges from helping first-time homebuyers purchase a home they can be proud of to working with experienced investors in need of a realtor with the skills to turn a profit. Regardless of the client’s level of experience, at the Sims Group, we turn what could be a stressful time into one that is calm and comfortable for every client.

With our branching network, we have helped support buyers and sellers all over North Georgia, from the bustling urban centers of Atlanta to the breathtaking mountains of Blue Ridge. Our quick communication and consistent emphasis on keeping you informed will ensure that you feel involved at every step of the way. How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I came into this business during the worst of the 2008 Recession, so I know what it’s like to work in a disrupted market. While I certainly don’t expect or hope to see that kind of problem again, if it does happen at some point, we’ll continue to support our clients because client focus and support lie at the heart of our business model. When you focus on consistently making the experience with your business a positive one, you’ll get through even the toughest economic times.
