Meet Marisha Wallace

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marisha Wallace.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Between the years 2016-2018, I wasn’t extremely sure what I wanted to do. I jumped around trying to figure out my Nat for things. I came across pure romance and became a rep. I actually enjoyed explaining the different things we sold. I noticed very early on the lingerie side of things weren’t made for everybody type. So in 2019, I decided I’d leave a company to start my own. And boom DreamsbyRi was born.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The adult industry is a billion-dollar industry. Coming into it I only had half a clue what I was doing or getting myself into. So many obstacles come along with this industry. A lot of people are not open about toys and lingerie. At pop-up shops people would look but never purchase because they didn’t want anyone to see them purchasing “these things.” Times are changing and people are becoming more and more in tune with their sexuality. My business is still growing and one day my shops will be all over the world. I promise when you book with me, it’s an experience you won’t ever forget.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
While my business is loading I currently work as a Certified Medical Assistant in a pulmonologist’s office. I’ve always loved helping people, so the medical field was a no-brainer. I also work as a server/host in a black-owned restaurant where the food is delicious! But that is not all. I also work for a cleaning crew to Airbnb. Busy body you say? Well yes, in business you have to put money in to get it out. I’m one hard-working women and I’m proud of every accomplishment I’ve made so far. My most proud accomplishment is my business and I’m striving to make it better daily.

What’s next?
I’m planning to expand my business to include sex therapy sessions. Yes you heard that right. I just enrolled into a program to become a sex therapist. I love helping people and that fits perfectly with my business. I’ll legally be able to give advice to those in need.
