Today we’d like to introduce you to Markela Blassingame.
Markela, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a Bachelor prepared Registered Nurse. I have been practicing in the health field for over eight years and will soon possess a Nurse Practitioner certification.
I’ve been into health and fitness for the last nine years. I am also the co-fitness coach for our fitness business where we create programs to mend our client’s fitness problems.
I also specialize in customized esthetic, plastic, and cosmetic post-surgical care to those clients having any out-patient esthetic, plastic, and cosmetic surgery.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When I began the journey into opening my own business, I did not have a mentor or anyone to pave the way. Sometimes we would be able to squeeze information out of business owners who were already successful. Many of those whom we’ve come across have not been willing to provide vital information. We have researched for hours upon hours on how to organize and build a successful business. We are grateful for the time that we put in back then, and we are still researching so we can continue to provide excellent services to our clients.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the King of Weight Loss/ Luxe Recovery Services story. Tell us more about the business.
I am the co-fitness and health coach for our fitness business. We provide programs and services to help mend problems with weight loss that our clients have been facing.
I also provide recovery services to clients who have undergone cosmetic procedures such as liposuction/fat transfer surgery, tummy tuck surgery, breast reduction surgery, breast augmentation surgery, facial, or any other cosmetic surgical procedures.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck. I’m a woman of faith.
