Meet Marquis Nolden of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marquis Nolden.

Hi Marquis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I had always been passionate about nature, finding joy and calm in nurturing plants and creating vibrant outdoor spaces. It began as a hobby, planting flowers and vegetables in my backyard with my grandmother. Eventually, my uncle suggested to redo our front garden. That small project blossomed into more referrals and suddenly, I found a growing client base.

Realizing the potential, I decided to take a leap. I researched, learned the business side of things, and invested in quality tools. I built a reputation for my creativity, attention to details, and genuinely love for helping people transform their spaces.

2011 I studied Sport Turf and Grass Management at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, that’s where I learned more about different types of grass, weeds, insects, and plant diseases.

After college, I went into landscaping with my friend to earn extra money. Mowing lawns was our focus. After mowing lawns for the summer and noticing, our customers were missing a small front garden, that’s when the idea stuck to start an independent garden business. White Glove Gardeners was Born!
