Where can I start? Not to be too personal but the start of my journey is indeed personal. I once struggled with very uncomfortable menstrual cycles. To the point I’d have to take off the first day of my period. The doctor always recommended birth control or some form of medication. Which I usually agree to, but this time I wanted a more holistic approach for various reasons. I started to do some research and gather non invasive options. I wanted no medications and no surgeries. I came across a holistic noninvasive approach called vaginal steaming. I would travel out of town to get the service done. After the first two vaginal steams, I noticed a huge improvement in my cycles. I began discussing my improvements and relief about my menstrual cycle with the women in my family and friends in my circle. The conversations made me realize two things. One, we as women really don’t discuss our cycles with one another. We usually save those discussions for our gynecologists. Secondly, many of us suffer during our menstrual cycles, and have been conditioned to think that painful cycles are normal. Vaginal steaming improves menstrual cycles and offers so many other benefits. There were only two downfalls to the remedy that I found prior to performing my own Yoni steams. Those were having to fit steaming into my work schedule, and the cost adds up when you add gas on top of the price of the service. I was traveling 1 hour and 45 mins one way to steam. The benefits were so worth it!!! This led me to start researching vaginal steaming more in depth, while also considering the business side of it as well. I wanted to make a way for women locally to feel the relief that I have. Once I realized there were no major regulations such as cosmetology. I realized that it was easier than I thought to share this great non holistic approach to vaginal health with women in my area. That’s when Charming Yoni was created!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have been challenges. COVID has been one of the major challenges. For a couple of months I had to shut down just to regroup and learn ways to keep my clients safe with the virus spreading so rapidly and being so unknown. Right when business was picking up and I was getting in the groove of servicing my clients COVID made me press pause for a while. The second challenge is I also have a full-time job working in community mental-health. Trying to run a business that fits my work schedule and the schedule of my Charming Yoni clients had been a struggle. I am often asked the question why won’t I just focus on Charming Yoni and stop working my other job? The truth is mental-health is as equally important to me as women’s vaginal health and they often go hand in hand. I feel working in mental health is my purpose and my passion. Trying to find a balance was difficult but I’ve come up with business hours that appear to work well for myself and my Charming Yoni clients. Another challenge is that vaginal steaming has become more popular and the service is being offered more in the area. The challenge I had was being confident as a newbie in this field. I also struggled with being confident as a new business owner. These were both new territories for me. Once my clients started rolling in and I realized they trusted me. We were getting some healthy Yoni results, and my confidence increased. I decided to create my own lane for my business, and stay true to that regardless of what others around me are doing. It is all about Charming Yoni and the clients that I serve. They are my number one priority. Focusing on them keeps me grounded and growing. To be successful in business you must be willing to adapt. Everything will not go as planned, and there will definitely be some challenges. If you’re open to adapting when needed you will be fine. I take pride in researching and educating myself and passing that knowledge on to my clients. I take my consultations with my clients seriously. We form relationships. When you leave Charming Yoni we are always connected. We check in with one another. I am accessible for questions or concerns. All steaming goals are not the same. My goal is to figure out your personal steaming goals. Empower myself to empower you to reach them and become charmed. I empower myself in order to empower others. When you leave Charming Yoni not only will you have a charmed yoni but you will have a charmed life as well!

Charming Yoni is a vaginal steaming business that specializes in holistic noninvasive services to promote women’s health. Charming yoni specializes in using different herbs to remedy or improve the females health, both physically and mentally. I feel this is what makes Charming Yoni different from the others. While others are focused only on your vagina, Charming Yoni is focused on you as a whole individual. The mind, the body, and their spiritual health. My goal is to teach women that our life goal should be to have all three of these elements aligned to reach our full potential. When we are not operating in alignment; we are not functioning at our healthiest and happiest capacity. Charming Yoni is all about empowering women through education. Educating them to get to know their body, their mind (mental health), and their spirit. My motto here at Charming Yoni, is charmed yoni, charmed life. As women we all know how unbalanced feelings are when our vagina’s are off balance. It affects our health, femininity, confidence, self-esteem, and quality of life. Here at Charming Yoni we are providing a safe space for women to work towards having their minds, body, and spirit align to help them feel great!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I don’t think I would have done anything very differently. My humble beginnings have really taught me a lot and I’ve grown as a business woman through the process. Growing pains are necessary. Chin Up Always!
