Meet Marta Carrasco of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marta Carrasco

Hi Marta, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Well , I’ve always wanted to become a model but never had the confidence until now that I’m older . I started off as a freelance model back in 2021 and I reached out to many photographers in the modeling industry to work with . Of course , I was turned down by some due to budget constraints and others was willing to work. That never stopped me from achieving my goals and applying myself. So , I made the best out of it . Until now 3 years later I’m a signed talent agent to a renowned modeling agency AWorld Entertainment.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Becoming a model and especially in this industry has not been an easy ride.There are times where you feel like you want to give up but I just keep going and trying . Some of the struggles that I had to face in this industry is not getting picked to work especially for casting calls , but I don’t let that get the best of me . “What I tell myself keep going because one door will close but another door will open.”

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Medical Assistant by day and a Urban Model part time , but modeling is my passion and will continue to work to get my name out there and make it my full time career! What I am most proud of is establishing myself in 2 magazines . European based magazine called “Marika Issue 3333” and American based magazine “Mag Black Vol. 65” in 2022. In September of 2023, I was able to be a fashion model for this amazing designer June 8th in New York Fashion Week, lastly in March of 2024 , I was able to be a swimsuit model for celebrity designer Daniel’s Leather for his swimsuit line . These are my accomplishments that I’m most proud of . What sets me apart from others is that I will continue to keep working hard and believing in myself , that’s what sets me apart from others .

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I say pray hard and work hard, everything that you desire will be given to you even if the bad outweighs the good . Never give up ! This is the only luck I can say that plays apart of my life and my business.
