Today we’d like to introduce you to Martin Roseman.
Martin, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a youth, I had a clear vision of what and who I wanted to be. Like most adolescent Americans, I had dreams of ambition. However i was torn between a life as an artist, a healer, and an entrepreneur before I realized I could do all of the above. I could enter the healing profession, where my creativity would be my greatest asset as a business owner and later on finance my art. After my high school career was over, I worked diligently at two and sometimes three jobs to amass a savings I felt would be enough to start phase 2 of my life. Eventually, I reached a point where working jobs where I either made someone else rich or didn’t align with my purpose and decided to quit the workforce and attend massage school. A goal I had set for myself early on to propel myself into entrepreneurship. I attended the Atlanta School of Massage where the idea for Roseman’s Remedies was officially born.
Being a bit of a polymath, I had already been dabbling in topics related to my work. Such as herbalism, environmentalism and spirituality and was a vocal advocate for cannabis. In school, it really clicked mentally on how I could turn that into an enterprise. Thus I began a year of experimentation and study with CBD and natural products and sustainable packaging solutions. Being a huge eco-friendly advocate, I couldn’t imagine myself making a product that went against my values. So I scoured the internet for ideas for packaging ideas and was delighted to find sources I could use involving compostable bio-plastics. Flash forward to today and we are proud to be one of few truly sustainable and eco-friendly small businesses of Atlanta. Which has led to my art career starting to take off. I do projection mapping which I’ve involved at my expos and started to plan interactive and immersive events involving wellness, art and transformation under the alias @thevibealchemist on instagram.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Choosing a business in a young but profitable market such as CBD has been difficult to say the least. The capital needed to remain compliant with laws has been more than anticipated. Not to mention major companies spend thousands to misinform or confuse the consumer with incorrect of biased information. Making it difficult to provide correct information to the consumer thus affecting their judgement of a truly quality product. Banks haven’t wanted to work with us do to our previous volatility of the market. Our Google, Facebook and Instagram ads have denied for reasons that don’t really make sense. Lastly many people know others who work under network marketing companies, franchises or amazon that have more reputation or cheaper goods than ours. Our refusal to compromise sustainability for the suit of profit has been a journey
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Roseman’s Remedies story. Tell us more about the business.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I attribute a lot of what has happened to me in life to a higher power or “luck”. There have been several times in my life where I have been placed in a room full of people but happen to talk to the one person that I needed to. It’s humbling to know that there’s something greater than me, that sees our vision and wants us to succeed.
