Today we’d like to introduce you to Marvin Rosario.
Marvin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My career with drones started with a $20 toy drone from Amazon and a passion for crashing it into obstacles as I tried to navigate in the front yard. I remember thinking of a way of how I could make that this a career that could support my family and I. It was a thought that stuck with me for weeks.
As time went on, I realized that drone footage is in a lot of the media we consume today and that sparked my research as I started to look into different solutions that this technology provided. The part that really pushed me down this path is when I saw the damage from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the solutions that drone pilots provided in the island’s recovery.
That led me to find a drone service provider in my local area that would teach me what I needed to pass my Part 107 remote pilot license and become a commercial drone operator. After completing that exam, I received a drone from that program to start my portfolio.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all, but that’s a part of owning your own business. This process has taught me a lot about patience, persistence and to not value the criticism of others more than my own.
When you’re happy with the work you put out and gain true joy from it, you can’t let the feedback of others stunt your creativity and persuade your work.
Also, in the beginning, I would get caught up in the highs and lows of starting this venture. One week, everybody in the world is reaching out and then the next weeks, nothing is inbound.
It’s still something I deal with today and I’ve had to not let the amount of work I’m getting dictate my emotions and worth.
Being in a constant state of the unknown has changed my way of thinking and made me more happy with the effort I put in then the result expected.

We are a media production company with a focus in aerial content and virtual tours for businesses of all sizes. We’re best known for our passion for digital distribution and spreading our client’s work across the platforms of most value.

My willingness to ask questions and learn from anybody around me. Every day we have an opportunity to become a sponge to the information around us.
