Has it been a smooth road?
Life has its ups and downs. It hasn’t been a smooth road unless you’re perfect. My theory is, “You owned your mistakes and embraced the process.” The struggles with family and relationships go hand in hand by our past experiences and how they replay in our daily lives from one generation to the next.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
YenoMason is a brand and a way of life. YenoMason’s name is Money spelled backwards, which is Money Mason but due another artist having the same name, I switched it. My talents are music and foretelling my life story as YenoMason. I was destined to show my hidden talents, although I thought football was my ticket to wealth. I soon realized that path wasn’t my destiny. I learned how to be a black businessman.
In addition, I am proud to be an independent artist on my own label. I am a black man and proud of it. I create my own music by engineering and editing my own music videos. Literally, I do everything on my own because its the best way to learn the ins and outs of the system. Teach yourself for once!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The city is always evolving. I love my city. I can’t complain.
