MexikoDro, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started when I was about 13 just making beats in my head coming up with melodies in my head and thinking of a baseline, then I finally got some equipment to make beats, got a keyboard and got the programs I needed and started going crazy with putting out beats, and sending them to people to rap on.
Has it been a smooth road?
Nawl, it hasn’t been a smooth road I’ve had a lot of obstacles some of I can’t go into detail, but to make a long story short, I ran into legal problems, writer’s block, a little depression where I didn’t want to do anything, not being motivated by hanging with the wrong people, I had to shake all of that to come up…

I have a company called MOD💣 which stands for (Money On Deck) and Beat Pluggz me and my friends created and we are producers, and what I’m proud of is that we took something outta nothing and made it a household name for producers and created a wave for the music industry when you hear that Plugg tag when a song comes on you know who it is
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yea it’s Atlanta we are the music Mecca, what better place can you go to create put it out and go out somewhere and vibe to it… and you have all the resources you need here.
